Illinois Department of Public Health

IDPH is an Invaluable resource for health data relating to Illinois, notably including the Illinois Hospital Report Card, Vital Statistics, and Illinois Health Data Portal.

PubMed

PubMed, sponsored by the National Library of Medicine, provides a search interface to locate articles in medicine.  An abstract is usually included for most articles, but few articles include the full-text.  To locate the full-text of the article, use the Advanced Search feature of the Primo search.  Use the link below to begin your search.

Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality

Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ)  primary mission is to produce evidence to make health care safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and, affordable. Its research reports are invaluable for nursing students researching health care delivery in the United States.

National Quality Measures Clearinghouse

NQMC is a database and Web site for information on specific evidence-based health care quality measures and measure sets. Nursing students doing research on quality measures will find this site highly useful.
