As a part of our marketing, outreach and great success of a build we did last year. The library took on building a little library this fall.
Every Tuesday in October students were tasked with building a part of the library. The first was the floor and most of the furniture. Then the 2 walls with the staircases. Then the roof and the lights on the final day. The students that attended the event asked if we would do an activity like this again. We were unsure at the time since we had wanted to send out a survey to get feedback from Fall programming. When the survey came back the results were clear. Students were very enthusiastic about bringing this back for next semester.
So, get excited for the new booknook build and other new activities coming Spring 2026!
