Center on Halsted advances community and secures the health and well-being of the LGBTQ people of Chicagoland and throughout the Midwest.

On behalf of 500,000 LGBTQ+ Illinoisans, Equality Illinois and the Equality Illinois Institute brings the voices of LGBTQ+ people and allies to institutions of power across Illinois, striving to create a world that is healthy, just, and fully equal for all LGBTQ+ people. We advance civil rights and social justice by inspiring, advocating, and mobilizing through an inclusive movement that works tirelessly on behalf of those we serve.

TJLP consists of a group of folks who believe in the power of communal care over systemic oppression. We are radical activists, legal workers, and organizers who provide support, advocacy, and free, holistic legal services to poor and street-based transgender people in Illinois.

Established in 1998, Youth Outlook is the first and longest-running social service agency in Illinois solely dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth. We work across northern and central Illinois, offering drop-in centers for youth, caregiver, and parent support, plus community education and professional development.

Founded in 1985, GLAAD is a non-profit organization focused on LGBTQ advocacy and cultural change. As GLSEN was founded by a group of teachers in 1990, we knew that educators play key roles in creating affirming learning environments for LGBTQ+ youth. But as well as activating supportive educators, we believe in centering and uplifting student-led movements, which have powered initiatives like the Day of Silence, Ally Week, and more.
