Whenever you would like to identify academic journals with an emphasis on any topic, like censorship, there is a pretty straight-forward process for locating them in our catalog.
When in Primo, our library catalog, search the term you would like the journals to cover, making sure to also select "Lewis University Library" at the right of the search bar. Once results have populated the space below, look at the left to select the option "peer-reviewed journals." Click "apply filter."
Now, when scanning the list, the only results should be academic journals with a focus on your search term(s). The results that will suit your research best will look like this:
You can see verification that the journal is "peer reviewed," an indicator the information has passed through more rigorous standards before publication. The "open access" symbol means you will be able to read the entire journal without a subscription. And, lastly, the "available online" in green means you can view it through our databases once you are signed in.
