The Writing Center is located on the first floor of the Library, and writing tutors are available to help students at every stage of the writing process, including formatting citations.
History has its own citation style, which students can consult using A Pocket Guide to Writing in History by Mary Lynn Rampolla, 7th Ed. The Lewis University Library has a copy of the guide in its reference collection.
Rampolla uses the standard history citation style, which is often called the Chicago Manual of Style or Turabian, after Kate L. Turabian's A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, which is the condensed version of the Chicago Manual of Style. Rampolla is the even more condensed version.
