In January 2016 ProQuest officially launched a new and improved version of RefWorks that makes it easier than ever to manage and organize your research. If you had been using the beta version of the new RefWorks, called Flow, you won't need to do much at all, other than to update the Flow URL to http://refworks.proquest.com.
If you have been using the original (legacy) version of RefWorks, you can now transfer your existing library into the new version. Legacy RefWorks users who want to transfer their libraries have two options:
- User initiated: Create a new RefWorks account by selecting "Import References" and moving your references from the old to the new RefWorks. You can maintain both accounts and do this migration multiple times (if you wish).
- Soft migration: When you log into the Legacy RefWorks, you will see a link at the top of the screen that says, “Migrate to new RefWorks… “. Choosing that link will move your account data, user name and password to the new product.
The Legacy RefWorks product will be available until January 2018.
For technical questions about migrating your citation library, email ProQuest RefWorks Support, call 1.800-521-0600 ext. 74440, or click here for ProQuest's RefWorks Support site.
Am I on Legacy RefWorks or New RefWorks?
The links for both versions of RefWorks are below. If you are on the legacy version of RefWorks, we encourage you to migrate your account to the new platform as soon as possible.
