For this assignment, you can build a search using the Advanced Search in Primo. We will use the keywords - nonparametric test, data analysis, healthcare.
Note: Please make sure you sign In to the Primo search using the button in the right-hand corner before you start a search. This will allow you to log in to the search to see more results, as well as be able to save articles and searches to your account.
Using the Advanced Search, input keywords on each line as follows:
Here is a screenshot:
Click Search.
You will then see a list of results. Refine the results using the filters on the left-hand side, depending on the assignment. Using the Articles, Creation Date, and Peer-Reviewed Journals filters are recommended filters to apply. (Note: The Creation Date can be whatever you would like, but for this example, we are using a date range of the last 5 years).
When looking through the results, most of the articles shown will have used a nonparametric test in them. It is always a good idea to click on an article you find interesting to see if it fits with your assignment.
For example, the article below uses a specific type of nonparametric test, the "Kruskal Wallis H Test."
If you are looking for a more specific topic, please use that topic over a broader one like "healthcare". You will be able to find more specific articles this way. For example, you could replace "healthcare" with "heart failure," or even a specific type of nonparametric test, like the "Mann Whitney" or "Kruskal Wallis H Test."
This research article below explains the differences between parametric and non-parametric tests:
